Hi there. I'm new to this board. I just got my first Apple PC, a Mac Mini (Late 2012).
After unpacking it, upgrading the RAM and setting it up I play around a little bit.
There is one thing, that keeps me awake:
When I shut the system down or put it into sleep mode, before the system shuts itself off, the fan gets louder than normal. It's the sound of a slower spinning fan - but its definetely hearable. I'm wondering why it's so much louder than when the Mac Mini is up running in normal mode.
Is this normal? All my other Windows based PCs never got this issue.
Thanks to all helpful answers.
