I have a core duo macbook pro, and I've noticed that the hard drive is loud compared to the fans. The fans are silent, but I can hear the hard drive contantly whirring... I'm not referring to the clicking sound that occurs when the hard drive is accessed, but the actual spinning of it. Is it normal for the hard drive spinning to be constantly audible?
