Love the leather link ease of use, alternatives?

I purchased the leather link in umber to go with my silver aluminium S8 and the combination is simply gorgeous but the longevity of the leather link itself not so much…

The umber leather link is 7 months old and I too am suffering from the problems mentioned in this thread so I was wondering if there are any good alternatives to the leather link that will last longer?

Yes I know there are many premium leather bands out there but they’re all based on a traditional buckle or clasp mechanism.

Late reply here, I use the old leather loops, which I find very comfortable and easy to use, also a nice variety of colors. Right now there’s a few available on eBay at very good prices. My wrist sizes 165 MM and I used the medium size which is perfect even if your wrist is a bit larger.
