I asked a couple of questions a few days ago but for whatever reason I could never log in again. But, got my email issue figured out and everything else is falling into place. I had never used an Apple in my life but after a week can't imagine having to use my PC!

Thanks for all the praises of the products that I read here prior to deciding. My PC was just so slow from everything I had to run to protect it from viruses and bugs. This really does " just work. "

Funnily if a mac will do the job for you you'll find that people do make the switch very quick and painlessly. It's always nice to hear though.

Welcome to the group!

I recommend looking into the guides as well as buying a book or two to learn some of the "secrets" of OS X (I favor Scott Kelby's Mac OS X Tiger Killer Tips due to its easy-to-read formatting, but there are many options).

Macs are indeed easy to use, and you don't need to learn tips and tricks, but I think you'll find that a few tips here and there can make it even more enjoyable to use.

Congratulations on the iMac! They are awesome machines. If you have any questions in the future, feel free to ask around. I as well as many others would be happy to help. :) Enjoy the machine.
