Just have to give kudos to my new Apple Store in town - the genius bar folks there are awesome!

I bought a new MBP two weeks ago and discovered the lid didn't close tightly because the catch was off. I took it in and they ordered the part. Then they called me after I dropped off my computer and said they wanted to exchange it for a new one.

Well, today I did the exchange even outside the 14 day policy, and they got my AppleCare plan transferred for me, all my programs transferred, and even re- set up my network. Way cool of them. They really took care of me and I am even happier now that I switched over from PC.

In talking to them, I discovered that all of my genius bar folks had transfered from other stores, which may have had a lot to do with their knowledge over the standard rep.

Couldn't get any iphone info out of them tho. :(
 
The genius bar has always been good to me, I had an issue with my old iPod that they fixed for me (outside of procare) and they fixed my PB screen three days faster than they told predicted it would be.
 
The genius bar at the apple store is seriously the best tech support in the consumer computer industry.
