Hey guys (and girls), I finally signed up on this forum so that I could post a question that's been nagging at me for a while. I have a 2008 24" Intel iMac, 2.8 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia 8800GS gpu. I recently installed COD2 for Mac on my computer because I wanted a game that I could run at max settings without any slip-ups. However, when I run the game at recommended settings, I average 30 fps, and when I run at max settings, I average only 20-30 fps. Also, when I turn on High-Quality Rendering and then restart the game, it comes up with a black screen, although I can hear the background music and my cursor as it passes over icons. What's the deal? Is my graphics card not powerful enough to run the game at 1920-1200 resolution with low settings/high settings?
Thanks for your help.

P.S. I have seen that this post has had 123 views, but no one has responded. If you have any suggestions, please help.

P. P. S. I have heard that most Mac games run slowly, so if this is the case, maybe someone could respond?
