Hi,
I bought a MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz (2x1 GB Ram) about two weeks ago. I copied my whole profile and all my data and my library directly from my old MacBook Pro (2.16 Ghz) to my new MacBook.
When I speed-test my laptop using XBench 1.3, it usually performance much worse than all the other MacBook Pros that are listed on the xbench website. most of them have a score of 116, mine is usually at 90. The reason for it is the 'disk test' section. (all the rest works great, just as fast or faster than the other macs.)
What could be the reason for a low disk performance in a new laptop? does it have to do with my way of copying all the system data? is the disk fragmented or something like that?
Thanks for help!
