Low keyboard battery life on M1?

Is anyone else seeing low battery life on the iMac's M1 standard keyboard? Seems like it only lasts about a week? On our other iMac Intel 27" full size keyboard, it lasts months and we use that iMac a lot more. Does the smaller keyboard have that much less capacity? Or do I have a faulty keyboard? How often to you have to charge your M1 Keyboard?

I wanted to create the exact same topic. My M1 iMac Keyboard lasts significantly shorter than the one from my Intel 27".

I had the small one before and now I have the the small one with Touch ID.

I think the new one lasts about a month.

Shorter battery life is to be expected due to the embedded TouchID button. I have used mine daily for a month now and it still has 48% charge remaining. It definitively drains faster than the old non-TouchID keyboard but a week seems to be extremely short battery life. I would contact Apple and request a replacement.
