Lower Flipside Trek 250 AW II?

Does anyone have any experience with this bag or the regular flip side bag?

I am a Micro four thirds shooter; Only E-M10, 12-40mm pro, pan 20mm prime, charger + 2 spare batteries and about two small filters. I usually carry a Joby gorilla pod + ballhead with me on hikes as I don't really have a light enough tripod (yet) that I'm willing to carry for long distances.

I want a bag that will not only suit me for hikes but also for traveling as I like to have very little with my on the plane. Currently I have a blackwolf backpack that I put a Crumper camera bag insert in the base of but this is a bit cumbersome.

I also carry my iPad Pro (9.4") with me when I travel.

Does anyone have the flipside or flipside trek bags? or have experience with them? I know the 350 AW will likely accommodate my iPad as well but the point of the MFT system is small footprint and I don't want a bigger bag than I need. The 250 has a tablet "Cradle" but if a regular tablet will fit in the front pocket anyways then thats fine with me too.

Not that bag but I've had a Nature Trekker AWII since 2006 and it has been virtually indestructible. It carried a 5D and various lenses and now takes my bigger gear since the Canon gear is no more. I fit a Fuji GX617 with 90mm lens and the even bigger 180mm lens, ground glass, filters and a 100D with 50mm f1.8 (for metering) and still have room for 2 or 3 boxes of 120 film. It also has a smaller day sack that clips on as well as a tripod pouch.
Lowepro bags are mega. I have the Tahoe BP150 for my Fuji X-T2 with 16-55mm f2.8, 50-140mm f2.8, Samyang 12mm f2 and a collection of filters, holders, remotes and all that stuff. It's pretty stuffed but the smaller bag is fantastic. I think it will be significantly smaller than the Flipside and I think you'll have no problem fitting the M43 gear into it. If I need the X-T2 for a long day or hike, I'll use my Nature Trekker AWII and shift the GX617 and it's gear into the Peli case. On the rare occasion where I need both systems, I put the Nature Trekker AWII on my back and the Tahoe on frontways although I can't carry both systems very well or for very far haha! My tripod hangs round my neck to the front to add ballast for the backpack! I must look like a right idiot sauntering through the forests with that gear on :S

Day hikes? Or multi day hikes. I use a mindshift backlight 26l when I go out on landscape hikes. Fabulous bag but I use a full frame kit so it’s overkill for you.

My NZ tour earlier in the year was a couple people using one of the rotation series backpacks from mindshift for mirrorless kits. Waist pouch you can rotate in front of you for quick access couple smaller size ones that would be perfect for your kits. Can also use as just a waist pack if you want to leave the backpack component. Rave reviews from those using it and with mine can speak for the quality.

That sounds like a great bag. I'll need to check it out
