LTE cellular no longer works solely as a hotspot?

My wifi went down (no wifi) so I am trying to connect my Mac to my iPhone hotspot using LTE. In 2020-21, this was possible. Now it’s not? I have full LTE service but my Mac won’t connect anymore like it used to — solely on LTE iPhone, no wifi whatsoever.

Umm, it should still works no? Unless your carrier puts a limit on it, which is fairly common in US afaik. I don’t see iOS 15 being a problem Here.

Exactly what I thought, I’m still on iOS 15, too. I’ll call my carrier and see if they messed with my data.
