Hi all,

Introducing Luci, a mental health app focused primarily on Mood Tracking and Self-Reflection. Available for free on iOS and Android.

I'm happy to share the app I created hoping for feedback, feature requests and hopefully stories of how the app has helped.

Features

Luci includes a Mood Tracker, mindfulness exercises and Self-Reflection sessions in a range of topics. All designed to improve our mental health by noticing and taking action.

Reflecting occurs by answering (hopefully insightful) questions on a topic of choice. Including topics such as Stress, Self-Acceptance, Mindfulness and more are added regularly. By really thinking about the answers I hope the app can help gain insights to make the necessary life improvements.

Secondly I have implemented a Mood Tracker where you can add your mood by adding the following each day:
Happiness Score (1-10, 1-5)
Activities of that day (+ custom)
Overall emotions (+ custom)

By going this detailed on Mood Tracking I hope detailed trends can be discovered such as a connection between activity + mood or perhaps being able to spot depression sooner.

Luci is privacy online and can be used offline. No data is stored remotely (apart from iCloud if selected) and I've included an optional (biometric) lock.

Get in touch

I'd love to hear all your feedback and any feature requests you may have! I will check back here regularly or you can reach Luci via Twitter (X) or the website: Luci App

Hopefully Luci can help prevent mental issues such as depression and many others that could occur by neglecting our mental health. Even if the app only helps a single person it will be worth it.

Update 2.4.1:

- Added the ability to export your Mood Ratings and answers so you can seek professional help and provide them with qualitative long-term data
- Big UI tweaks. Made it easier to see at a glance how your mood compares to previous weeks and start new Mood recordings or self-reflections
- The Mood Score will now average out per day. Meaning if you add multiple recordings in a single day it will take an average. The sessions screen is reflected to make it easier to see all of your activities during a single day.

Happy reflecting!

Update 2.6.1

- Added support for reminders

Update 2.6.2

- Added support for Apple Watch

--

I've checked many mood tracker apps and was shocked to find most don't have an Apple Watch app. Which is mind blowing because it's so easy to quickly add your mood this way.

In the next update I'm adding watch complications to quickly launch the Apple Watch app from a watch face.
