I was gonna buy this on black Friday, but bought an iPad Mini instead. Well, noticed today the 520 is back in stock on the Microsoft store for $59, contract free. Snapped it up and will try to see if I can get it to play on t-mob's network. Maybe someone here knows?

I realize it is small and outdated, but I wanted a Win 8 phone and at $59, I can deal with any shortcomings.

Go to the online Microsoft store if you are interested.

The Lumia 520 is locked to AT&T's network. If you want to use it on T-Mobile you need a 521.

I've got a 521 as a backup phone and turn-by-turn GPS, and it's not a bad little device. Since the Nokia maps app can download all mapping data over wifi it's the best standalone GPS you can get for $60 with free map updates.
