So in the last couple of weeks I have tried htc one x while it was light, and great looking I found it to be big, and android Os just could not get used to it, how ever when I did return I said let me try a windows phone, I got the lumia 900 , I was taken back as to how similar it was with ios , simple to use and set up, Nokia made a quality product , the scree size is a 4.3 , it's just right , I think if apple makes the same size screen for iPhone it would be amazing, now don't get me wrong guys , I still have my iPhone , I just wanted to see other systems that were out there. Windows seven has come along way , impressive.

More to a phone than just screen size!
Lumia 900 is just yet another step on the bastardisation of the beautiful N9 design. Nokia got the N9 just about perfect in every regard, then sold out and reduced the screen size to accommodate windows phone 7 capacitive buttons, and dropped the camera.
With Lumia 900 they increased screen size, added camera, but moved away from the aesthetic yet again.
The difference between great design and good design can be tiny, and the changes Nokia implemented to get one the best looking and crafted handsets running win phone 7 was that difference.
N9 > Lumia 800 > Lumia 900
The n9 with its .4" bigger screen than the iPhone, may seem small on paper but when compared ne t to each other the extra .4 made a noticeable and tangible difference. The fact that the body of the phone however matched the dimensions of the iPhone 4 & 4S to a tee, proved that a bigger screen and same sized form factor for the handset could be possible.
The N9 was the one of the best devices abandoned before it was even given the chance to shine.
Lumia 900 is just a degradation of that whole Aesthetic, and is a noticeably bigger phone not only screen size but in body dimensions over th iPhone. Apple should not go down the Lumia 900 path, but stick to the rigid aesthetic choices that actually make the iPhone the most successful handset on the market. There is more to a phone than just screen size....

I guess Apple can just sent it's R&D department packing then since they have a phone that doesn't need any changes. That's great news because my iPhone 4 will always look like the current model. Sweet.

What I'm saying is that if they (Apple) want to go bigger screen or thinner device, they should keep to the principals of good design and aesthetics and never waiver from that, that is not sacrifice those principals and aesthetics simply for a bigger screen such as Nokia have done with the N9 & Lumia range.

Reading this post was like an unexpected lobotomy. You don't enjoy it and you find your brains all over the floor.
Anyway, I had the Lumia for about two weeks. Can't say that I enjoyed it too much, because the phone was huge and slippery. Windows Phone 7.5 needs some improvements, especially with the keyboard and IE9. It also had battery issues unless you turned on battery saver, which disables push/fetch notifications and turns off backgrounding (it has backgrounding?). After the initial "oh it's a new phone" feeling wore off, it got annoying and I gave it back to my friend.

I was stating as far as phones out there the quality on the lumia was impressive, the simplicity of use compared to android is great, the screen size is perfect, my thoughts, and it played nice when syncing with my Mac air, and the LTE is amazing. Overall not a bad phone, all phones have battery issues even my iPhone 4s, all my toys are apple, I thought I would step out for a little while.
