I have a 2014 27" iMac in my office. When I upgrade some stuff, I will not be using the iMac as the daily driver in the office, but I don't want to drop coin for a new monitor. The majority of what I do is text based. Will Luna work fine on an M1 14/16 using a TB3 cable to TB2 converter/

Any follow up on this? I am considering buying a 2nd hand cheap/old 27" 5K iMac to use as a monitor with my 14 inch MBP M1Pro. Would love to know if the experience is smooth. I read somewhere it would be limited to 30 or 45Hz.

For that matter, I would consider getting a 24" m1 iMac if I could use it as a monitor as well if I could use the full 4.5K resolution.
