Luv the poor mans stand

Tried a few times and the center of gravity is just wrong for portrait orientation. Perhaps with the sucker glued or screwed to a solid metal base, but as is no way.
 
I guess that would have helped...office depot here in the states
 
To give the business card holder enough stability to hold the iPad in portrait, attach a piece of black cardboard or poster board to the bottom, extending out about 2 1/2 inches. I used double stick tape & poster board & that worked fine. It's plenty stable now. I also covered mine in vinyl; pics here:
