I want to be able to stream audio from my home Mac mini iTunes library onto my iPhone and be able display lyrics that are embedded in the music file, such as the iPod app can do. I've been searching for MONTHS, but I haven't really found a solution.

I can think of three ways this is possible to do:

1) Directly via an Audio Streaming app

- Ideally, there exists an app like Zumocast, Audiogalaxy and the like that can stream audio as well as extract the lyrics from the original source file itself to display. I do not yet know of an app that can do this.

2) Indirectly via Lyrics Lookup

- I assume it is possible to look up the lyrics via an Internet search after the song starts streaming on the device. Simplify Media used to do this before it got pulled. Most of the seperate lyrics apps can do this but ONLY from the iPod internal library and not from a streaming source. So I can't find any apps yet that can do this

3) Via Remote Desktop

- Lastly, it's possible to get a full remote desktop app that can stream audio from a Mac, such as Remote HD, that can display iTunes itself running on a mac by showing the Mac remote desktop, and then you can get a iTunes lyrics visualizer to display the lyrics within iTunes that can be visible on the Remote desktop screen. This actually works with Remote HD (I can't find any others, though) but is VERY awkward in terms on scrolling the lyrics and takes a lot time to set-up on a very small screen.

I was hoping that someone knew of an app I was missing that can display lyrics directly (#1 above) or at least indirectly through an internet lyrics search (#2 above), or any other way to do this easily that I am missing,

ANY help or thoughts on this would be GREATLY appreciated!
