Is anyone using an adapter in order to use an m.2 ssd in an older Macbook Air? I have a 13" mid-2011 Macbook Air (A1369). The sdd in it just failed. I know I can buy one to fit this unit from OWC or Transcend, but I came across this adapter on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Sintech-26Pin-Adapter-MACBOOK-MD224/dp/B00QA7Y1B6 Is anyone on here using one? If I could buy a standard SATA m.2 drive and use it with confidence, it'd save quite a bit of money.

TIA for any replies.
