M.2 question

I am wondering if anyone has tried or knows what, if any, my options for m.2 raid as a boot drive would be. I have been looking at the Samsung sm951 AHCI version. For the board the amfeltec 4x m.2 board. Does anyone know if this would work as a boot drive or have any other thoughts as to what I could do? Thank you.
