Being a university student, I use M$ office quite a bit for term papers, reports, etc. but I am having a really hard time sending office V.X documents via e-mail to PC users. It seems as though the windows program (98, 2000, XP) doesn't recognize that the document is in word or excel format and the user has to go through a few steps in order to get it to open (if they can).
I have never had any problems sending Office V.X documents to other mac users and I have all the latest updates. Does anyone know what may be wrong? Do I have to save the document in a different format before I send it in an e-mail?
