My M1 12.9 iPad screen becomes laggy after few days of usage.
Usually the problem is confined to the top half of the screen.
For example, if I switch to app switcher view and try to swipe up and close the currently active app (showing in the top right corner), it takes a fair bit of effort/ multiple swipes to complete the action.
Restarting the ipad fixes it immediately - and it works fine for a few days (to several days) before the problem manifests again.
To re-explain the problem, Even restarting the ipad becomes difficult because the swipe to turn off action is laggy.
This problem has existed for a while now and I was attributing it to software issues.
However multiple updates (and a full reset/ restore) later, it still exists.
The hardware warranty on the tab expires next month. Now while the problem is certainly annoying, I can live with it as the device otherwise is more than excellent.
However I am now concerned if it could be a hardware issue instead? Should I consider sending it to Apple for a diagnosis/ replacement?
