M1 16" charging issues

Hello everyone,

There is an issue with the M1 16" related to charging
When the mac is off with the lid closed, if you plug the MagSafe charger, it will not charge and continuously beep
This issue seems widespread, but I haven't found it discussed outside of Reddit:

I face the same issue on my 16" M1 pro

I've left my laptop in this beeping loop for an hour (I had to leave my flat and only noticed it went I was back) it doesn't seem to have caused any issue but I hope it hasn't damaged anything internally
