MBP M1 16GB 13" 2020 vs i7 32GB 15" 2018, which one do you recommend to me as a graphic designer?

Definitely the M1, unless the screen size matters. I have the MBP 14” Max now with 32GB, but previously had the 2020 M1 Air with 16GB and it ran both the Adobe and Affinity suits like a dream.

I wasn't totally convinced by Apple Silicon until I got one. After working on an M1 notebook as a UX Designer for a month and learning all the benefits of it, I will never go back to PC or Intel. And I'm not just an Apple fanboy - before the M1 my main computer was a Dell XPS.

Stay far away from the 2018. Bad keyboards, and some suffered from “flex gate” as well. No, go with the m1. All else being equal screen size and ram would matter, but no one really wants the hassle of the 2018s. Besides, my experience with those machines is that they weren’t any faster than the previous generation because they couldn’t dissipate the heat. M1 for sure.
