Screen goes pink followed by a restart.
Is this what I spend 1400 on, a device that can't even be connected to arguably the most quality dock on the market?

I have an XDR Pro in the mail.....not a good time to be running into this issue.

Anyone?

are you on 11.3? if so downgrade to 11.2. thunderbolt is broken on 11.3 and this fixed in 11.4 beta 1

right now M1 Macs are beta products, thats why I will wait till the transition in over

PS at least your MacBook can run Zoom, the ThinkPad Nano can't even run Zoom due to a bug and its not even solved yet and that laptop has been out for 6 months.

Yep on 11.3.....thank you man....was in panic mode because I just dropped the cash on the XDR.

Best way to downgrade? I don't have a TM backup, brand new Air.

keep in mind though although 11.3 has broken thunderbolt it has solved other kernel panics relating to memory management. Which IMHO is why it is better to stay on 11.3 and wait for 11.4 to come out.

If you don't mind and want to use your XDR display then go here:

and install the 11.2.3 ipsw file. Copy the important files to external hard drive and do a clean install of 11.2.3

Are you getting any log files? I'm using an M1 Air (now on 11.3) and have not had any panics with the TS3+.
