Quick question for anyone with an M1 Mac to test this: does it support the spatial audio feature of AirPods Pro? No Macs have so far, but I've got a sliver of hope that will change with the M1.

If it does that'd be another reason for me to want a new MacBook, but I'm doubting it unless the macs have a gyroscope sensor built in that's the reason it works between the iPhone/iPads it works out the movement of the iPhone/iPads gyroscope and the gyroscopes in the AirPod Pro's

Agreed it's unlikely for now.

Of course the gyroscope thing is an artificial limitation to enable the "moving around on a bus" effect. I'd like to see it show up on Macs and Apple TV just for the incredible surround sound effect, and there's no reason that needs a gyroscope to work.

Update: I got an Air yesterday and was able to answer my own question. And the answer, unsurprisingly, is no.
