MacBook Air M1, two 27-inch 4K monitors. I previously used a DisplayLink adapter to achieve dual screens.
Last week, the adapter suddenly stopped working, but I need dual screens every day. Remembered I had an idle Apple TV 4K 2022, so I tried
using it and found that AirPlay easily achieved dual 4K displays (either extended or mirrored). Including the built-in laptop display, this equals
three independent screens. The latency is similar to using the adapter, wish I did not buy the displaylink adapter, wasn't cheap.
However, the only issue now is that Apple TV AirPlay doesn’t support True Tone on the 2nd monitor, causing color differences between the two
monitors, which is more problematic at night. Kind hurting my eyes, any solutions?
