Hey guys,

Recently received my Yellow 24" iMac and honestly, I'm loving it so far!

I do however regret not getting the Magic Trackpad. I only have the mouse (basic configuration). Do you think there's any way to purchase the yellow Magic Trackpad separately? Perhaps through AppleCare?

Thanks!

I’m waiting for them to release the keyboard as a standalone. The switches feel way better than the magic keyboard 2

Applecare is tech support and extended warranty with extras like accidental damage coverage. You can't buy Apple gear with Applecare.

I went through applecare support to order the trackpad and extended keyboard with the numeric keypad. Did the trackpad first and as soon as the support person worked out how to order it (took 45 mins on the phone) it arrived a few days later. He was excellent.

I then wanted the extended keyboard and I called back. It was apparently documented by that stage on how to process the request so the support person did the order. I waited weeks and nothing. I then received a call from somebody at apple claiming apple didn't make them anymore and my order was cancelled ? Anyway I argued with her and an hour or so later I received the link to pay for the keyboard so she must have found out what to do. Paid and it arrived a few days later. I would say the 1st person I got didn't do it correctly and this other person just had no idea.

Well after three unsuccessful tries with Apple Care, I don't think this procedure is documented really well yet.

@Alicia1 : do you by any chance have a case or order number I could give them so they can see how?
