M1 Imac and Calibration

Apologies if i have added this to the wrong forum

I have ordered an M1 iMac and will be mainly using it for Photo processing.
My question is does the screen require a colour calibration (Datacolor,X-Rite or other ) or is the screen sufficient
enough without.
I use Adobe PS & LR for my editing along with Nik4 software. Camera is a Canon R6 Mirrorless.
I don't intend on adding an additional monitor just the iMac screen to do the processing.
Any advice would be welcome
