Not sure why Macrumors closed that discussion to further replies, but I wanted to suggest that Macrumors reach out to Apple for comment and update the article is they hear back from them.

There is no 'tiltgate', some iMacs are tilted and are not levelled properly. This is a not a gate. This is the factory not properly aligning the iMac to stand when they screw them on to the stand. Some PC monitors also come tilted. This is nothing new.
If you get a iMac thats tilted return it. simple.

I don't know what an 'M1 iMac' is, or who 'macrumos' is (I found this page when I searched Bing for 'tilt gate'), but my gate is very tilted and the sheep are able to jump over it, which is a real problem. I've spent all afternoon chasing them back into the field. What kind of hinges should I use when I re-hang it to stop this happening again?
