Hey MacRumors!

How much do you think Apple will charge for the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 256gb after they release the new one? Meaning do ya'll think they will keep the M1 for sale and drop the price?

I'm wondering if/when M1 iPad Pro prices were/are reduced after the announcement this morning? If so where would one see them?

I ask because I (purposely) bought an M1 iPad Pro last week, and am within that price match/return window, but if Apple never technically reduced the price of the M1, am I SOL paying full price on this thing? (Or of course returning it and getting the new one, which I see no point for since this M1 is great.) Hmm...

Apple have removed the M1 iPadPro from the store.
You can get a 512gb M1 for the same price as a 256gb M2 from Amazon UK (for now, while stock available).

Where did you buy from? If direct from Apple, then no price drops. They just stop selling it altogether.

I've had the 2021 iPad Pros (128-512GB, cellular) on my Amazon cart for a while now watching for price drops. Only need 128GB but sometimes, you get better pricing on higher capacity models than the lower ones. I know I've seen the 2TB cellular 12.9" iPad Pro selling for less than the 1TB cellular and 2TB wifi models on occasion.

Can you? I believe official channels have to stop selling just like you can't buy 13 Pro Max from Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Only gray market / used.

Where did you get that idea from. Just because Apple has stopped selling a model from previous year doesn’t mean all the other resellers are going to dump their stock.

E.g - here’s an iPhone 13 Pro Max available directly from Amazon

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max (256GB) - Sierra Blue https://amzn.eu/d/j3xyq2r

You’ll also find plenty of old models with the carriers.
