I don’t like how the iPad apps will just crash if it uses up too much RAM, and apps can’t take full advantage of it.

it would be nice if the iPad would have the same multitasking as Mac.

So websites lik YouTube don’t pause when you close Safari, same as any video app that doesn’t like to play nice with background play.

Multi audio playback from different apps when you wanna listen to music and watch videos that may have sound (like most of Reddit) and not have the music cut off.

would be nice if they added launchpad to iPad with active previews.

having multiple windows would be great. When I do typing between two apps, the 12.9” is too big to look between both apps, it would be awesome if I can just change the sizes smaller, while also have the PiP window in the corner. PiP Windows always block buttons in full screen apps.

here’s hoping they make multitasking better if they release FCPXX

Download pipifier, will put any video playable from Safari, including youtube, into a pip window. Can then background safari no problem and also slider the pip window off the screen.

Actually, that’s the solution I wish they would embrace with windowed apps in ipados. Any full screen app should be able to go in to a pip style movable, resizable and put offscreen-able (whilst not being backgrounded). Obviously with multiple instances rather than just the one, and more freedom with resizing and placement.

Really looking forward to ipados advancements at wwdc.

THIS 100%. That would absolutely be game changing. This would be better for multitasking workflows. It will enable viable usage for extended desktop monitors.

Being able to use RDP on an external display from an iPad is my dream. Such a simple concept that any desktop OS can do, but would really be the next step for iPad to fully replace my Macbook.

Lots of apps. I would briefly leave an app and come back one minute later and the app has already been reset. Or switching between tabs on Safari

Part of the reason for that is not enough RAM and no swap to offload to. 8-16GB RAM should reduce the frequency of reloads (likely greatly reduce with 16GB) but perhaps not eliminate them altogether.

You can remote desktop on a external display from iPad in full 16.9. The issue is that you cannot use your iPad at the same time and if you do you cannot control the external monitor at the same time.... (something you can do on Samsung DeX)

well yeah, that was my original point that i should’ve clarified/better written. ?

i dont want a mirrored display. i want an EXTENDED display. and having not just one but multiple apps open at once that are sizeable (like any other desktop OS) would make iPadOS that much better.
