Hi,

I use NordVPN and have M1 Mac Mini that I won't need anymore due to upgrading to M4 Pro.
I always wanted to have VPN on a router level, but routers are quite weak CPU wise, so the speeds aren't great.

I wonder if I could use M1 Mini for that, and if it would reduce speeds much?

Anyone tried it? How could I do that?

Thanks

I sent that reply before I was finished.

I wanted to add that you could probably get a pretty good router with what you would get for that Mini…a router that would come with VPN client firmware.

I have a 500+ mbit connection, afaik a router that wouldn't slow down the connection due to encryption would cost hundreds at least.
