M1 Mac Mini + Thunderbolt 2 on LG34UC98 UW (3440x1440)

I've got an LG34UC98 ultra-wide monitor at 3440x1440 @ 75Hz; it has two Thunderbolt 2 ports.
I'm wondering if I can use a Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter to run the monitor. And is TB2 capable of driving that resolution?

My Dell 34" 3440x1440 ultrawide arrived today. I just used the supplied type-c cable and it works fine and even charges the M1 Macbook. I'venow got it plugged into the thunderbolt (type-c) port on my HP Linux laptop and that's perfect too. Can't see why your LG shouldn't work.

"is TB2 capable of driving that resolution?" - it would hardly make sense for LG to provide ports that can't drive the monitor at full resolution.

Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter should be sufficient.

Oh that's great to hear. Yep good point - if TB2 couldn't drive it at that resolution, weird that they'd put those ports there.
