After updating to Mac OS 12.3 my 14” M1 Pro MBP is not ordering my displays properly. They are matching ASUS displays connected via DisplayPort to a CalDigit USB-C Pro dock. I have one in landscape and one in portrait.
I tried using display placer to swap the display attributes and it just swaps the display locations but doesn’t correct the orientation. The only solution is to unplug the dock. Wait for the graphics to reset and then replug the dock. If I do it too quickly the displays stay messed up.
Maybe this is the excuse I need to tell the wife I need an Apple Studio Display…
I have an intel 16” rMBP from work and that does not have this issue.
Is anyone else having this issue? Any other ideas on how I can get the displays to correct without unplugging my dock?
