M1 Mac USB connectivity inconsistencies

Hi all.

I have a new 16/512/8Core GPU MBA and a 21,5" Ultrafine as well as a Dell WD19TB Dock at work.

I have some inconsistencies with USB connections:

• When the Mac boots up, my USB mouse disconnects when Zoom fires up. This happens on both the dock and the LG and randomly during use as well.
• Additionally the USB-Ethernet adapter loses connection to the host frequently, I can't yet confirm when and why exactly. I used the exact same setup with my old Macbook before and did not have any issues.

It seems to happen when Rosetta2-emulated apps do some serious workload or launch additional functionalities, e.g. when someone shares a screen in MS Teams for the first time.

Besides my display does not wake up again after sleep sometimes...

Anybody else having issues with USB hubs?

My Caldigit TS3 just behave, but I do see multiple compatibility issue with 3rd party docks.
I've seen lots of people cannot wake external display after sleep, but I'm having the opposite: sometimes the display won't go sleep. It will leave the backlight on and display a black screen when the computer enter sleep. It does not occur very frequently, but when it happens I just cut the power of the display.

Were you able to resolve these issues? How's the combination working overall (M1 and WD19TB)?
