Hi my dear support team,

My MacBook has been annoying for the last couple of months!! Since downloading a Ventura public beta, the computer loses battery in standby mode. Since then I've been off the beta version (I've sworn myself off because it's not the only problem i've had, as to be aspected from a beta). Anyways, i've been scavenging on the forums for a solution but not the go-to tricks don't seem to resolve the problem.
I've done a deep clean with CleanMyMac and looked for sleep preventing apps in activity monitor (see screenshot). Not helpful. I'm sure I'm overseeing something and one of you know what.

Thanks in advance and best wishes!

I don't have a current laptop to check this but there's an "Energy" tab in Activity Monitor that's supposed to show what's sucking power. More columns of info are available if you right click the column headers.

Do you have any hubs, drives, or dongles plugged in while in standby mode?

What's the app with the half wifi/half usb logo?

Edit: I ask because I've noticed that when I've used my laptop with a usb hub with or without an external display plugged in that there is some significant vampire drain of the battery, even in standby mode. Apple's M-series chips are incredibly efficient, but peripherals still require the same power they did before the M-series. I never thought about how much power went to powering an external usb, HDMI, or VGA connection until I gave my first lectures using the M1 machine. The battery drop was about the same as comparable intel machines. I've not collected data to prove it, but it seems like the current thunderbolt/usb c ports pull more minimum power for any connection than the older usb3 (usb a) ports on the 2014 machine I had prior.
