I literally just received a refurbished set hours ago and after an hour of use, the display started to show this pinkish hint and it left a mark on the display. Anyone knows how to troubleshoot this?

First, check System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and make sure you turn off all display accommodations.
yup. all are off. :(

yup. all are off. :(
It doesn't look so bad on those pictures, but it really is hard to determine how much of the first pictures are due to poor foto quality. Anyhow two more suspects to check is true-tone and color-profile in display settings.
