M1 MacBook Air for Video editing

Hi I am considering to buy the m1 Air 16gb ram and 8gpu cores.
wondering if it’s similar to macmini or MacBook Pro m1 performance.
meaning.
How is after effects?
If you have to render a file and it takes 1 hour on the MacBook Pro m1 how much longer would it take on the air with thermal throttling?

I use it for my YouTube channel. I mostly work with 1090p 60fps files and very little 4K videos (mainly from my iPhone). I have the MBA M1 8-core/16GB and Final Cut Pro breezes through without any issues. I don’t use Adobe products so can’t comment on them though.
