Both of my other computers had no problem seeing and installing 12.1, but my MacBook Air won't see it after refreshing many times.

My M1 mini isnt seeing it either, but my M1 air saw it and updated. I can’t even download it frm the App Store on the mini.

There seems to be an issue with this update. I can't find it neither so just a waiting game until apple fixes this.

My M1 pro sees it. Haven't tried upgrading yet though.

Its still very new, depending on which content delivery network server you're hitting maybe it hasn't replicated everywhere yet.

Also.... server load is a thing...

My M1 mini also won't see it.

I found 12.1 on the Mac App Store and tried initiating the update from there. But it doesn't seem to work.

I'm giving up and just letting it be until it prompts me on its own.

Clearly, something is broken in the updating process.

I had this problem all afternoon and after few attemepts I also gave up. Today, I got the notificaiton that the update is available, but it is not downloading / got stuck at the very beginnning and it has been like this for good 20-30 minutes.

Which one should I use? The whole installer, or is there an update one I'm not seeing?
From the website :
12.1 = http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...ebasc92qkw2iv44e1j9pv09f/InstallAssistant.pkg

"...NOTE: Depending on the browser you are using, you might need to right click and select “Copy link address”. Past this link into a new tab and it should start to download..."

"...Once downloaded, all you need to do is install the pkg and the full installer of macOS will be in your applications folder..."

To add to this, even the full installer sometimes sticks at 52 minutes to go. If that's the case, the best option is to use a bootable usb and install from there. There's an Apple Support page on doing this - use the --downloadassets argument to get the latest files while making it.
