Hi guys I just got a second hand MBA M1 8gb 256 running OS Monterey beta. I am seeing the battery is extremely slow charging, I have been charging for hours since about 50% battery. Battery capacity is at 97% Battery condition : Normal

Charger appears fine : 30w Apple charger, I don't have access to try a different charger currently. Right now it is saying it will take nearly two hours from 86% to reach full charge?

Have you tried disabling optimized charging? (not recommended)

It will try to learn your habits and stay below 80% till you need it, to minimize wear.

Yes I disabled it temporarily but charging time did not change, another thing to note would be that after a restart the charging percentage had increased by 8 percent. Almost seems like a bug not updating the current charge status.... although still would not explain the slow charging. Maybe I should downgrade back to big sur?? This would be difficult to deal with.

Ok, if you are on beta software, you must expect things to be a bit unstable and unreliable. I have not really kept an eye on how fast mine charges, it has not been a concern.
