Actually he build a good case of speculations for many sources" this time and he is not wrong either. iMac Pro need to be far more powerful than M1 Max to warrant the name "pro". One M1 Max is about a 14 core in iMac Pro 2017 (geekbench MT) which is not sufficient. 2X M1 Max makes good sense if they solve any thermal issues.
