Hello,
I own a 2020 MBA with M1 processor, running macOS 11.6.7 at the moment. I have noticed that a process called "syspolicyd" is reading an extremely huge amount of data (circa 1TB per week or even more). Then I decided to update to 11.6.7 but the behavior remained the same. I still haven't updated to Monterey because of complaints claiming that syspolicyd is utilizing 90-100% of the CPU in macOS 12. It would be great if you could help me figure out how to solve the problem and save the SSD.
Best regards!
