So last night, I took my brand new MBP upstairs fully charged. According to the battery usage history - it was still at 100%, but went down to 0% by maybe 1:30.... When I went upstairs, I just shut the cover, it was closed the whole time. Why is the power being drained when it should be in sleep mode as far as I understand??? Now I did not shut down Sims 4....

This is my first MB, but a long time iPP user and 4 years strong on my Mac mini.... Just want to make sure that this new MBP is working like it should....

Any program running, specially a game, will drain the battery quickly. Normally when I shut the lid on my MBP I only have Safari open. Everything else gets closed via CMD+Q.

Some games can drain your battery even in sleep mode. Normal apps aren't a problem.

I turned on vsync in Sims 4 and that fixed the problem....
