Has anyone been able to just walk in and pick one up? The website and app everyday keeps saying "Available Tomorrow" then "Tomorrow comes" lol and it says the same day. Just wanted to know anyones experience with this who has not ordered from the online store.

Cool I will try that I just didn't want to trek up to the store if there was some type of odd availability issue.

“Available tomorrow” means they expect to have some in stock tomorrow. It does not mean they won’t sell out before you get there. The only way to ensure that is to reserve and pay for it online.

yes agree with @LonestarOne, reserve and pay online to secure it. Here in England it is the only choice we have anyway as retail is closed due to national lockdown until 02/12.

I was actually going to be trading in my 16 inch MacBook Pro for an M1. The trade in value is enough to pay for a MacBook Air and a HomePod mini. We are kinda under lockdown where I am at too. May have to wait until things get better again :)

Can I ask how much Apple is offering for the trade in of your 16" MBP ?

And what configuration is your 16" MBP ?

Mine is a base 16".

When it says available tomorrow, it means there are pickup windows still available. The only way to guarantee you get one is to pay for it online and select a pickup window at checkout. Once they run out of pickup windows for a specific day, it shifts to the next closest day where pickups are available, or it changes to unavailable when there aren’t any pickup windows available.

I’ve done this twice in the past week for a HomePod and a MacBook Air, and iPhone preorders before that. Getting a pickup window guarantees you the product.

Ouch!

Don't know if I can swallow that!

On eBay they are selling between $1600-$1800
I totally could because I would much rather not have to package this up in the middle of a pandemic risk the buyer being a flake and then having to deal with the whole Ebay dispute process. For me it's a lot smoother to go to the Apple store and do the transaction and everything the same day ?but to each their own.

Try macmeanoffer.com. Someone mentioned them on the forum yesterday and they were 785 for my 2017 and Apple was 580. Worth a shot.
Do you know if they will pay extra for the AppleCare+ ?

When you add that into the eBay prices -they are selling for $1800-$2000.

I am going to post it and see if someone wants a pristine 16" MBP w/ AC+.

I feel you on this one. I've tried to sell stuff online and sometimes it's easy but others you get so many scammers it's just not worth it. Apple Store trade in you walk in and walk out no issues.

I am not sure, that question did not pop up when I put in my info. But, maybe that was because mine was so old.
