Hi everyone,
My m1 mbp makes a clicking noise whenever I lift the computer with my left hand on the left side of the computer. I took it to apple, and they replaced the bottom case, and the issue is still present. Upon asking the technician, they said that "these noises are normal due to the tight tolerances inside the machine".

Do you feel the bottom case of your MacBook Pro click in your hands when you lift it with one hand on the left side? Is this normal?

Since they replaced the bottom panel once, I believe it should be normal. Also, bear in mind the M1 is a Beta-release of the new MX series Macs. Stuff like this is bound to happen and be fixed future-state.

it's not normal. i checked the other MacBooks on display and they didn't make that noise. Anyway, I upgraded to the 14 inch m1 model and it doesn't creak anywhere.
