I need to connect my 16” M1 MBpro with my OWC Mercury Elite Pro DriveBay, that I’ve been using as a TM backup for my old 27” iMac.
I’m attaching the ports that the drive bay has. It’s an old drive bay. What would you do?
if you can get an actual usb 3 usb-b-c cable, then it'd be neater, but performance wise it shouldn't be any different to just using adapter, but I suspect that most direct cables will be just usb 2 usb-b to c, as usb 3 usb b isn't nearly as common.

Usb B comes in usb 3 and usb 2 varieties, not many devices use usb 3 version of usb b, and a usb 3 b cable will not plug into a usb 2 b port, so I imagine they're probably not too common.
