Considering an M1 for FCPX and trying to discern actual performance benefits.
At present, if I import 4K footage from my Sony a6000, and bring it onto timeline, with the film strip view large, and play the timeline, I don’t always get the audio waveforms drawn in until I pause playback. It then renders the waveforms.
Is this the case with the M1? Or do you always get waveforms drawn in?
