The flickering, that myself and others have been experiencing with external displays connected to the M1 mini, somehow got better with recent updates of Big Sur. Yesterday I upgraded to Monterey GA and the problem is bad again. I hate it. I have tried different cables etc, dunno what else to try.

Has anyone managed to completely get rid of this issue once and for all?

My 4K monitor flickered and I had to reinstall Monterey. All of the cables were from difference sources. Works fine now. I'm on a m1 Mac mini.

No, different. BTW I switched back to USB-C to DisplayPort now, which I hadn't tried since upgrading and it *seems* better so far. Let's see....

I love the machine but never anymore will I buy a 1st gen device.
