M1 Pro 16" 16 ram, 512 vs M2 Pro 32 ram 512GB $1350 vs 2099?

Need advice on a work machine, budget is 2200.

Work is cloud computing classes and 3D print...files sizes up to 9GB but much larger files in the next 6 months, lots of file transfer and blockchain apps.

M1 pro with 16gb ram, 16", 512 is what I got for 1350 at Micro center but thinking the 32gb ram M2 machine for approx. diff of 700 may be worth it.

I would be prioritizing drive space/speed if you’re dealing with large file sizes.
