Hey guys,

my employer gave me a Macbook Pro 14" with the M1 Pro.

At home i have a Dell WD19TB Thunderbolt 3 Dock which i used for my Dell XPS 9500.
Now i am trying to get my two external monitors running with the Mac (with windows everything went perfectyl fine).

I have a 4k@60hz and a 1080p@60hz Monitor. But i cant get the 4k monitor running with 60 fps.

I tried 1080p @ Displayport and 4k @ hdmi -> Stuttering when running with 60 hz due to mac os not supporting multi stream.

So i bought an adapter cable Thunderbolt to HDMI -> no stuttering with the monitor but only 30hz available.

Is there a possible config that allows me to run both screens @60hz over thunderbolt 3?

I am really struggling with the set up, with windows it just worked...

best regards,

Okay, so i cant use the HDMI and Display Port Ports at once. For Mac oS one Display needs to be connected with HDMI/DisplayPort and the other one has to be connected with TB3.

I tried to connect the 4k@60hz with TB3, didnt work. So i switched Sides. 4k@60hz with HDMI and the 1080p with THunderbolt 3 (using a dell adapter). This seems to be working. 60hz and full resolution on all screens.

I bought 2 different sets of HDMI->TB3 und DP->TB3 cables that all have been rated for 4k@60hz, still didnt work.

But anyway, i got a solution for me that works fine so i will just have to manage some cables and hope that nothing changes :D
