The MacBook Pro and M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are fantastic. I worry that the upcoming sale of ARM to NVIDIA will create major troubles for Apple.
NVIDIA and Apple have had a death grudge match for decades, ownership of ARM will give NVIDIA a decisive advantage. How could NVIDIA use its ARM ownership to hurt Apple and the MacBook Pro ?

They can't. They could try to increase the cost of a design license or even try and prevent anyone from getting a design license but anti-trust would kill that quickly and they'd lose money on it not just from Apple but other clients too

The purchase will never go through. It relies on the European Commission, FTC, UK, and China to all agree with the sale or it will fall though. Too many gatekeepers. It’s extremely unlikely that will happen.

Wow that was shocking and welcome, news.
